Drayer Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Cayce, SC. This entry-level office role maintains pleasant and consistent daily clinic operations, requiring excellent customer service and multitasking across multiple computer programs.
Responsibilities
- Greet everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Schedule new referrals received by fax or telephone from patients and physician offices.
- Verify insurance coverage for patients.
- Collect patient payments.
- Maintain an orderly and organized front office workspace.
- Convert referrals into evaluations and schedule patient visits.
- Create an inviting clinic atmosphere and make welcome calls.
- Monitor and influence arrival rate to enhance customer experience.
- Manage schedule efficiently and handle document routing.
- Manage personal overtime, non-clinical documentation, and deposits.
- Monitor caseload, discharge candidates, progress notes, and insurance reporting.
- Monitor clinic inventory.
- Attend required training with Territory Field Trainers for Raintree and other business process updates.
- Complete quarterly compliance training.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills; ability to relate well to leadership and teams.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work with little or no supervision.
- Efficient time management and presentation skills.
Physical Requirements
- Subject to inside environmental conditions with exposure to indoor noise and temperature changes.
- Full-time position (minimum 40 hours per week) operating Monday through Friday during normal business hours; may require occasional evenings, weekends, or additional hours for special events.
- Sedentary work: constantly sits, with ability to interchange with standing as needed.
- Constantly communicates with associates; must hear and speak to accurately exchange information.
- Frequently operates computers and office equipment (printers, phones, keyboards, mice, copy machines).
- Constantly uses repetitive motions for typing and viewing computer screens (near acuity).
- Must comprehend information and use judgment to respond appropriately in various situations.
- Occasionally walks, stands, pushes, pulls, or lifts 0-20 lbs. from floor to waist.
- Rarely crawls, crouches, kneels, stoops, climbs stairs or ladders, or reaches above shoulder height.
