Patient Care Attendant

About the role

Assisting the veterinarians and veterinary technicians to work as a team in ensuring quality veterinary care for all pets, educating clients on all manners of pet health, as well as providing a safe and exceptional hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect cages, kennels, and examination and operating rooms
• Restrain animals during examination and laboratory procedures
• Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Assist the doctor and other hospital staff by caring for and cleaning patients and facilities, including completing patient treatments, assisting in surgery and all other animal care functions, as well as other tasks involved in the operations of a veterinary hospital
