About the role
The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients, and assists in maintaining a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Responsibilities
- Assists patients with activities of daily living

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), state approved Certification required
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred
- Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred
Qualifications
