Patient Care Associate-PCA - St. Louis Rehab

About the role

Under the direction of an RN or LPN, assists with individualized patient care to help each patient achieve their highest level of wellness.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document vital signs in the electronic medical record
• Assist with meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation, mobility, and transport
• Provide clerical support as needed
• Phlebotomy / blood cultures
• Enteral feeding
• Wound care
• IV / Foley removal
• Trach care and suctioning

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D
• CNA / CPTC OR enrolled in a high school healthcare career program
• Current Mercy co-worker also eligible
