Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Compassionate, Hands-on Patient Support
- Assisting with activities of daily living, including hygiene, nutrition, elimination, mobility, comfort, and safety
- Monitoring and documenting vital signs, patient weight, intake/output, and other key data
- Completing assigned patient treatments and supporting clinicians with more advanced procedures
- Supporting Clinical Care And Diagnostics
- Performing phlebotomy and EKGs
- Applying Holter monitors and performing glucometry
- Collecting, labeling, and preparing specimens accurately
- Enhance The Patient Experience
- Responding promptly to patient call lights and ensuring concerns are resolved
- Transporting discharged patients safely
- Providing one-to-one observation when needed
- Collaborate And Grow Within The Care Team
- Participating in patient care rounds
- Attending conferences and educational programs as appropriate
- Maintain required unit competencies
Required Qualifications
- Education & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write at a Level 8, as documented in "Invest" (hospital Employee Learning Laboratory software)
- Communication & Interpersonal Strengths: Strong verbal communication skills to ensure accurate information exchange; Excellent interpersonal skills to engage respectfully with patients, visitors, and team members
Pay Range
Pay Range $20.00 - $26.92
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
