Patient Care Assistant- Telemetry
Responsibilities
The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Illinois approved Certification required.
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
- Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
Pay
Holy Family Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $21.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
Schedule
PRN- Night shift- 7pm-7:30am- with rotating holidays and weekends.
