Patient Care Assistant PCA - Stepdown

Location: 2233 W. Division St., Chicago, IL

Employment Status: Full Time – Nights | 3-12 hour shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) | Rotating holidays and weekends

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides basic nursing care to all patients.
• Assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $18.00 to $26.68 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
