Responsibilities

The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
    • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Illinois approved Certification required.
    • Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
    • Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
    • Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
    • Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
    • Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Pay

Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $21.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.

Schedule

Float Pool Schedule: Days, 7:00am-7:30pm, 12-hour shifts
