Patient Care Assistant - PCA

About the role

Visiting Angels provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Our office in Hurst serves the HEB area including Bedford, Euless, East Fort Worth, North Fort Worth, Haltom City, Watauga, Richland Hills and many others.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship with emotional support
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, incontinence care
• Planning and preparing meals
• Light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to grocery shopping, errands, and doctor appointments
• Maintain accurate records of client care activities

Requirements

• 1 year minimum of professional caregiving experience with an agency or facility
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle for work purposes with proof of auto insurance

Schedule

• Day Shift
• Evening shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• 12-hour daytime shifts

Pay

$16.00-$19.00/hour
