About the role

Visiting Angels of HEB is seeking a Patient Care Assistant - PCA to provide non-medical care services to seniors in their homes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about caring for seniors and willing to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship with emotional support
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, incontinence care
• Planning and preparing meals
• Light housekeeping
• Making medication reminders
• Transporting clients to grocery shopping, errands, and doctor appointments
• Maintaining accurate records of client care activities

Requirements

• One year minimum of professional caregiving experience with an agency or facility
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle for work purposes with proof of auto insurance

Skills

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
