Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred
• Obtain BLS Certification by the end of the orientation period
• Maintain BLS certification
• For BCOM Only: Successfully complete Certified Nurse Aide Exam within 4 months of hire
• Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred

Qualifications

• Specific to NICU: Trained in Unit Dose Feeds
• Specific to Bronson Lakeview Hospital and Bronson South Haven Hospital: Understands the differences between swing bed patients and inpatients or observation patients

Skills

• Basic medical terminology knowledge
• Proficiency in oral and written communication
• Basic math skills
