Position Purpose

The PCA, under the direction of a registered nurse, is responsible for direct patient care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs. They assist in establishing and maintaining a patient care environment that is clean, safe and conducive to patient/family wellbeing including concepts of relationship-based care.

Shifts Available

Shifts Available: 10:30pm-7:00am
Status: Available: Part-time Every Other Weekend and Holiday per year required for Full-time and Part-time team members.

Required Education / Licensure

High school diploma or GED
Recent experience desired

What You Will Do

  • Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success.
  • Assists patient in completing ADLs including: Bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation using assistive devices and with feeding and menu selection.
  • Medical progressive care unit specializing in the care of diagnoses including: renal, stroke, seizure with continuous EEG monitoring.
  • This unit currently houses our COVID-19 population.
