Patient Care Assistant - Med/Surg Neuro/ENT, Nights - PCA

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care.
• Serves as a liaison between patients and nursing staff, communicating patient status and delegated tasks/functions.
• Works flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
• Completion of Block 1 in Nursing, Medical Assistant (MA), or Nursing Assistant (NA) preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting within the last year.

Schedule

Full Time Hours/Pay Period: 72
Schedule Details: Night Shift, 1900 - 0730, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
Weekend Schedule: 5 weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday) per 6-week schedule
