Responsibilities
The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Requirements
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire (preferred)
- Current EKG certification upon hire (preferred)
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office (preferred)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification (required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $18.00 to $26.68 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
