Patient Care Assistant I
Job Summary
You’ll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities. Every day, you will directly support patients with tasks such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, while also assisting nursing staff with vital sign monitoring and preparing patient rooms.
Responsibilities
- Makes rounds to monitor and record vital signs.
- Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs.
- Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output.
- Obtains and records daily weight.
- Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter.
Job Requirements
- Required High School Graduate or High School GED.
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days.
- One of the following criteria must be met:
- Certified Nursing Assistant/EMT.
- Completion of “Fundamentals of Nursing” in an accredited RN or LPN Nursing Program.
- Minimum of 6 months of direct patient care in an acute care environment within the last 24 months.
- Verifiable Certified Patient Care Tech, CPCT, issued by American Allied Health.

Pay Range
$17.00 - $20.13 /hour
