Patient Care Assistant CNA - ICU

About the role

The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients, and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Provide basic nursing care to all patients
• Maintain a safe environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire (preferred)
• Current EKG certification upon hire (preferred)
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office (preferred)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification (required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $18.00 to $26.68 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Schedule

• Full time
• 3-12 hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
