About the role

As a Patient Care Assistant for the Bone Marrow Transplant program, you will provide direct patient care, assist with daily activities, and support the medical team.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Monitor and report patient vital signs
• Prepare and serve meals to patients
• Support medical procedures and treatments
• Ensure patient comfort and safety

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in healthcare or related field preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and nights

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of infection control practices

Skills

• CPR certification
• Basic computer skills
