Responsibilities

• Assists patients with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care, which support nursing practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
• Carries out designated activities that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.

The skills and responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) align closely with those of a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) and Patient Care Technician (PCT), making this a great opportunity for those with CNA experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to multi-task under stressful situations.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate, collaborate and manage relationships with interdisciplinary members while maintaining patient/family centeredness and safety in a timely, efficient and equitable manner.
• Keyboard experience preferred.
• BLS certification included in orientation program; successful completion required prior to first day in patient care.

$20.98 - $29.19/hour

• Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend/holiday
