Responsibilities

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene
• Managing light housekeeping
• Encouraging clients to meet their exercise and fitness goals
• Prompting clients to take their prescription medications at the right times
• Helping clients with shopping and putting away groceries (or shopping for them)
• Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients (based on client ability)
• Aiding clients with mobility and ambulation

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old and able to work legally in the US
• Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 with shot record
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid drivers license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Must feel confident in their physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Must feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Must be willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards
• Must be able to use a smartphone for electronic visit verification (EVV) and caregiver notes
• Must be able to pass extensive background checks, including Live Scan fingerprinting
• Must have a negative TB screening within the last 90 days

Pay

$19.00 - $21.00 an hour depending on availability and experience
