About the role
PCAs serve in the role of Nursing Assistants, providing direct patient care support on the units.
Responsibilities
- Regularly assist with patient care, including vital sign monitoring and recording measurements in patients’ charts
- Provide Ambulatory Support to patients, assisting with walking, showers, and other prescribed therapies
Requirements
- Education: High School or equivalency certificate is required.
- BLS or CPR Certification: Current certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of Nursing Assistant experience in an Acute In-Patient setting is preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant: Certification is preferred but not required.
Position Highlights and Benefits
- Part-Time positions ONLY.
- Positions are 12-hour shifts.
- Day Shift: 7 am to 7:30 pm
- Night Shift: 7 pm to 7:30 am
- Rotating weekends and holidays is required.
