Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor (RN) - Nurse Coordinators

Job Summary

The Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor is an experienced Registered Nurse responsible for supervising and monitoring the Nursing department(s) on an assigned shift. This position provides leadership for multiple hospital departments in the absence of the unit manager, director, or administration. This role ensures the appropriate delivery of direct and indirect patient care via the utilization of the Nursing Process and creates a positive environment for the professional practice of nursing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
• 3 years of acute care charge or supervisory experience required
• Critical care or emergency department nursing experience may be required in acute care environments
• Progressive leadership experience
• Active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut required
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) provider credentialed form the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider credentialed form the American Heart Association (AHA)
