Patient Attendant - Float Staffing / Nights / Part Time / 24 hrs

Responsibilities

• Remains at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.
• Affords assistance in calming and/or reorienting patients experiencing agitation or confusion.
• Eliminates visible hazards and/or broken equipment from the immediate environment and reports as necessary.
• Records all observed details.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider preferred.
• Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
