Responsibilities

  • Ensure patient assessments comply with established standards
  • Extract accurate data from clinical documentation
  • Coordinate timely Medicare data submissions
  • Educate staff on proper documentation
  • Troubleshoot coding issues
  • Improve data collection processes
  • Review patient records
  • Complete chart audits for CMS transmission

Requirements

  • Licensed or certified healthcare professional (e.g., RN, Therapist, Social Worker)
  • QI credentialed
  • At least 1 year of healthcare experience
  • Must attend IRF-PAI trainings and obtain UDS IRF PPS Certification within specified timeframes
