Responsibilities
- Ensure patient assessments comply with established standards
- Extract accurate data from clinical documentation
- Coordinate timely Medicare data submissions
- Educate staff on proper documentation
- Troubleshoot coding issues
- Improve data collection processes
- Review patient records
- Complete chart audits for CMS transmission
Requirements
- Licensed or certified healthcare professional (e.g., RN, Therapist, Social Worker)
- QI credentialed
- At least 1 year of healthcare experience
- Must attend IRF-PAI trainings and obtain UDS IRF PPS Certification within specified timeframes
