Patient Advocate Part-Time

About the role

The Patient Advocate will work closely with patients to ensure their needs are met and to provide support throughout their journey. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive patient information.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with navigating the healthcare system
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients
• Ensure patient satisfaction and address complaints
• Communicate with healthcare providers to coordinate care

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Communications, or related field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
