About the Role
This position requires a thorough understanding of the facility’s treatment program and philosophy. The individual will coordinate and supervise communications (calls/emails) from current patients’ family and loved ones, providing insight into the patient experience at Wilmington.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary link between current patients’ family/loved ones and the clinical, nursing, and medical staff.
- Maintain a friendly, helpful, and resolution-driven approach in all interactions with family and loved ones.
- Perform other assigned functions and tasks as needed.
Requirements
- High school graduate (college degree preferred).
- One year of experience in the substance abuse field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with adult (18+) male and female populations dealing with substance abuse and dual diagnoses.
