Assist in tracking Child Life programs and activities encouraging normalization and socialization while interpreting routine policies and procedures regarding play spaces and other information requests in a timely and efficient manner. Job Responsibilities: Provide ongoing support to the child life/creative arts team around routine day-to-day tasks and activities within area.Assist in the coordinating and tracking of child life programs/activities in play spaces encouraging normalization/socialization.Interpret routine policies and procedures regarding play spaces and other information requests in a timely and efficient manner. Minimum Education and/or Training: High school diploma required. Minimum Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience; Associate's degree in Child Development preferred.Prior experience working with children in a healthcare setting preferred. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required by Law: None. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required by SJCRH Only: None Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Shows eagerness to learn from different avenues.Addresses needs/ problems in a logical manner, using defined approaches.Manages own time well to plan work and meet daily task needs.Executes routine tasks under guidance and/ or supervision.Shows attention to detail, produces quality work on time.Has clear, concise communication in both verbal and written communication.Listens to requests, confirms understanding of routine needs, and provides accurate answers.Shares information within team as directed.Promptly inquires, documents, and addresses patient needs by listening actively and asking clarifying questions as appropriate.Prioritizes responses to patient queries in a courteous and attentive manner as appropriate.Consistently shows interest and investment in patient experience and outcomes through ongoing communication with patient and families as appropriate.Consults with manager to get input, guidance and support with patient care as appropriate. Compensation In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
