About the role

The Western Region Consolidated Business Office delivers comprehensive insurance revenue services to affiliated UHS facilities, encompassing billing, collections, cash posting, pre‑access management, variance analysis, and customer service. Responsibilities

• Serve as a key liaison between the healthcare organization and external vendor partners regarding patient account inquiries.
• Manage patient financial accounts, ensure accurate billing, and resolve account discrepancies.
• Collaborate with billing, coding, and collections teams to resolve outstanding balances.
• Handle billing, collections, cash posting, pre‑access management, variance analysis, and customer service tasks.

Qualifications

• 1‑3 years of medical insurance experience, or equivalent experience in a hospital setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical billing/collections coding education is a plus.

Requirements

• Experience in healthcare billing, patient accounts, explanation of benefits, medical insurance verification, and revenue cycle operations.
• Familiarity with denial management and appeals preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and auditing experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and 10‑key data entry skills.
