Patient Account Representative - Billing
Job Summary
Our Patient Account Representative team is growing! As a Patient Account Representative, you will follow up on claims and resolve denials. You will also communicate with patients and insurance companies to answer questions related to insurance claims.
About the Role
This position works from home after completing up to 90 days of on-site training and establishing competency in the DMOS process. It is a full-time Monday through Friday position, accommodating remote workers within the state of Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on claims and resolve denials as necessary.
- Review claims and make necessary adjustments before closing the claim file.
- Answer questions about outstanding balances, insurance coverage, and patient questions regarding accounts.

- Curiosity to listen, ask clarifying questions, and avoid interrupting others.
- Independence to manage focus and seek help when needed.
