About the role

The Patient Access Service Representative (PASR) delivers an exceptional patient experience for "front of house"/patient facing needs. Proactively greets patients and visitors and creates a helpful, positive, welcoming and friendly patient experience. Provides outstanding customer service both in person and on the phone. The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network is a partnership between Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin supporting a shared mission of patient care, innovation, medical research and education. Our health network operates eastern Wisconsin's only academic medical center and adult Level I Trauma center engaged in thousands of clinical trials and studies. The Froedtert & MCW health network, which includes ten hospitals, nearly 2,000 physicians and more than 45 health centers and clinics draw patients from throughout the Midwest and the nation.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet patients and visitors.
• Create a helpful, positive, welcoming and friendly patient experience.
• Provide outstanding customer service in person and on the phone.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience as a receptionist/assistant or work in a customer service field (healthcare setting preferred but not required).
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Skills

• Effective communication skills, oral and written.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Strong proactive organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EpicCare preferred.
