Patient Access Representative (Receptionist) - Behavioral Health Department
Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is a regional community health center covering a thirty-seven-town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich, and Putnam. Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages, including medical, dental, and behavioral health care, as well as care coordination and community outreach. In addition to our main facilities, we offer mobile programs and School-Based Health Centers.
About the role
Major job duties include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, obtaining information from patients, posting procedures, and collecting fees. You will provide excellent customer service and work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including dental, medical, behavioral health, health support, and community program staff.

Requirements
- High school diploma (post-secondary education preferred)
- Typing and computer skills
- Familiarity with dental/medical terminology and billing procedures
- Experience in a dental/medical office is helpful
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
