Patient Access Representative - Physical Therapy: Broadway - Part Time

About the role

The Patient Access Representative is the first line of quality service to our patients and our guests. This position serves as the ambassador of service, setting the standard by which all other departments and services are judged.

Responsibilities

• timely and accurate registrations including but not limited to obtaining demographics information
• complete benefit verifications by Alpha Split for Outpatient and Inpatient services
• Calculations of Payment for Patient Portion due for services
• cross-trained to cover various non licensed positions in the clinic
• patient education (regarding benefits)
• appropriate authorizations for approved Oak Bend Providers for services rendered

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered
• Previous Business Office related experience of 1 to 5 years

• Excellent interpersonal skills required
• Typing 35 words per minute
