Patient Access Representative (Patient Registration Clerk)

Key Responsibilities

• Complete patient registrations by accurately entering demographic and insurance information.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients with the financial counselor as needed.
• Assist with bedside registrations in the Emergency Department.
• Operate the phone and paging system in a professional manner.
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and experience in public relations.
• Prior experience in a medical office setting (preferred).
• Must be able to work independently, demonstrate personal integrity, and interact effectively with patients and staff.
