About the role

The Patient Access Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and families, ensuring accurate and timely registration processes, and maintaining a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Handle patient inquiries and registrations efficiently
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance claims
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
  • Follow up on patient accounts and resolve issues promptly
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality policies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
