Patient Access Representative (Full-time, Day Shift)

This role is responsible for timely and accurate patient registration, including interviewing patients to gather account information, verifying insurance, calculating and collecting patient liabilities, and obtaining necessary signatures. Key duties include checking physician orders and attaching them to patient records, ensuring correct tests are received, and printing and distributing required paperwork. The role also involves escorting patients or referring them to available escorts. Qualifications include high school diploma or GED (preferred) and an associate’s/technical degree or relevant experience (preferred). Essential functions include verifying insurance and authorizations, following established guidelines, and performing other related duties as assigned. The position requires adherence to organizational safety policies, including vaccination requirements and participation in E-Verify.
