Patient Access Representative

About the Role

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine and is part of a national cardiology platform, Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL). CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care with over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. This part-time position (3 days/week) is based at our Springfield, PA office and requires traveling to our 3 Delaware County offices.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tests and follow-up appointments as patients leave the office
• Review instructions for studies scheduled with patients
• Enter charges as the patient is leaving, as well as during downtime
• Call patients to confirm appointments
• Receive, greet, and direct patients
• Verify demographics, insurance, and PCP information at time of check-in
• Collect co-pays
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have experience in a medical office setting
• Must have knowledge of different insurance plans
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing
