Employment Type Part time Shift Day Shift Description TRAINING/ORIENTATION IS 2-3 WEEKS MON-FRI 8A-4:30P Position Purpose Patient registration, collection of copayments and collecting all patient demographic information. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. What You Will Do Responsible for the pre-registration process of patient admissionsObtain approvals and payments on siteExplain insurance and private pay liabilities; appropriately refer patients requiring financial counselingAccurately enter/update all patient demographic information, including insurance and patient liability; post payments to appropriate screen and complete reconciliation reports Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalentKnowledge of medical terminology and medical insurancesPatient access hospital experience strongly preferred Position Highlights And Benefits Per diem during Monday thru Friday day shift, rare weekends8 hour shifts between 4:45am-4pmTRAINING/ORIENTATION IS 2-3 WEEKS MON-FRI 8A-4:30P including time in Springfield, MAThird week required if new hire has less than 1 year experience doing registration in a hospital Ministry/Facility Information Saint Francis Hospital is committed to exceeding the expectations of our patients and families by providing world-class service in a progressive, people-centered, compassionate health care environment.
