Patient Access Coordinator We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Access Coordinator to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities Make all departmental appointments via telephone and in person, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information. Adjust patient schedules promptly in response to provider schedule changes or other modifications. Contact patients to inform them of schedule adjustments and answer any related questions. Provide patient education and outreach, particularly for new patients or when implementing new policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date appointment records in the scheduling system. Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to coordinate patient flow and scheduling needs. Skills And Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare or administrative training preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities. Proficiency in using scheduling software and basic computer applications. Previous experience in a healthcare setting or patient scheduling is a plus. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
