Patient Access Conversion Specialist

Hours: Monday through Friday between 8a - 5pm
Onsite at Local medical Office- Downers Grove

Responsibilities

• Check-in/Greeting Patients/ Patient Scheduling
  Acknowledges and welcomes patients and visitors.
  Sets the tone for a positive experience
  Checks in and schedules appointments, following sleep scheduling protocol
  Answers heavy call volumes to fulfill patient needs over the phone
  Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
• Performs all other duties/responsibilities as assigned
  Reviewing schedule
  Pre-screen patients based on departmental protocol
  Monitor schedules daily, ensuring that all open slots are filled on the same day.
• Daily monitoring of patient scheduling reports
  Exam Preparation
  Review the Daily Appointment Report and prepare charts as appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Three years of patient/client-facing experience
• Customer Focus: Demonstrates excellence in customer service and satisfaction levels for internal and external customers.
• Integrity/Ethics: Demonstrates personal integrity, honesty, sincerity.
• Trusted to do the right thing.
