About the role

Your job is more than a job. Be the Calm in the Chaos—When Every Second Counts. In the Emergency Department, no two moments are the same—and your role is critical. As a Patient Access Associate, you’re often the first point of contact during some of a patient’s most stressful and urgent situations. Whether it’s an unexpected emergency or a critical moment, you bring calm, clarity, and compassion from the very start. Your ability to stay focused, organized, and empathetic helps patients and families feel supported—even in high-pressure situations.

In the Emergency Department, patients don’t have the luxury of planning ahead—they rely on you in critical moments. Your role helps create order, clarity, and support when it’s needed most. Make a difference when it matters most—one patient, one moment at a time.

LCMC Health is a community. Our people make health happen. While our NOLA roots run deep, our branches are the vessels that carry our mission of bringing the best possible care to every person and parish in Louisiana and beyond and put a little more heart and soul into healthcare along the way.
