Pathology Laboratory Assistant I, Microbiology (Swing shift)

Responsibilities

• Aid in labeling, preserving, and fixing patient specimens.
• Work closely with technologists to ensure accurate and timely specimen processing.
• Maintain inventory of reagents and supplies.
• Organize patient specimens and assay worksheets/printouts for testing and review by technologists.
• Use Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to upload documents and enter critical data or comments.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Previous laboratory, healthcare, and/or customer service experience of 1-2 years required.
