Pathology Lab Tech Aide

Responsibilities

• Assists the technical and transcription staff in one or more laboratory areas.
• Performs specimen preparatory functions.
• Provides clerical and technical support in Pathology.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and apply accurate procedures in specimen handling and clerical processing.
• Good communication and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to provide accurate information and instructions.
• Strong computer keyboarding skills.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Lab Technical Assistant in a clinical or pathology laboratory.
• Knowledge and experience in the use and application of computers.
