Patent Product Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on patent professional with a strong background in patent law and a passion for technology and AI. This role involves bridging product, engineering, and intellectual property teams, designing, prototyping, and deploying new products, and collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with in-house patent teams and patent law firms to design and deliver high-value proofs of concepts and new products.
• Engage in customer sessions with patent professionals to ensure successful adoption and measurable value delivery from our products.
• Translate customer feedback into clear product requirements and identify emerging product opportunities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a patent-focused role (e.g., patent attorneys, trainee patent attorneys).
• A deep understanding of the patent lifecycle.
• A builder’s mindset, thriving in ambiguity, iterating quickly, and creating order out of chaos.
• Extreme ownership, seeing problems before they happen, taking responsibility, and delivering.

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
