The offices of McGuireWoods seek a Junior or Mid-Level Associate for the Patent Litigation Team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, sophisticated patent litigation solutions — whether offensively or defensively in competitor v. competitor matters, or in the defense of lawsuits brought by non-practicing entities.
• Navigate complex patent litigation cases successfully and cost-effectively.
• Represent clients from virtually every sector of the global economy, including telecommunications providers, computer software and hardware providers, financial institutions, and manufacturers.

Requirements

• 2 - 7 years patent litigation experience.
• Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering degree.
• Excellent academic credentials required.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background.
• Proven experience in patent litigation.
• Technical expertise in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
