Patent Attorney

About the role

We are a performance‑driven patent preparation and prosecution law firm committed to providing a fresh, more efficient approach to excellent quality service through highly effective communication, creative strategic solutions, and investment in quality assurance. We are looking for a motivated, experienced, and highly skilled patent attorney or agent to join our team on a full‑time or part‑time exclusive basis.

Job location: Remote/work from home and/or on‑site in Tysons, VA.

Responsibilities

• Primarily prosecute patent applications for leading technology companies.
• Prepare patent applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• At least 5 recent years of patent prosecution/preparation experience.
• Patent prosecution experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: semiconductors, AI/ML, electrical systems/circuitry, robotics, displays, sensors, optics, wireless communication systems, automotive technology, specialized software, biometrics, or medical systems.
