About the role
A Pastry Sous chef role at THE PIG is like no other. We use local suppliers within a 25-mile radius, source majority of our own produce from our onsite kitchen garden in order to create our menus, which change daily.
Our Chefs are passionate and above all driven to provide our guests with an unforgettable dining experience, creativity is what we do best.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a small team and manage the pastry section.
- Be responsible for the junior staff on the section, requiring good people management skills.
- Be as passionate and enthusiastic about modern British food and classic desserts as the Chefs are.
- Take an active role in leading, teaching, and inspiring the apprentices.
Qualifications
- Confidence and ability to support a dynamic team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, energetic kitchen environment.

Pay
OTE £37,300 per year (£17.94 per hour, including tronc).
Schedule
40 hours per week + paid overtime.
