About the role
At SH Hotels & Resorts, we're looking for a fast-learning, creative Pastry Cook to support our Pastry Team. You'll be involved in preparation, production, and presentation of delectable treats, all while learning from highly-regarded chefs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist in the production of various pastries and desserts
- Support the team in maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to health and sanitation guidelines
Requirements
- Passionate about food
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Basic knowledge of culinary operations
- Team player and hard worker
- Detail-oriented and flexible
- Willingness to work in a 24-hour operation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
