Responsibilities
- Prepare all pastry items in accordance to company approved recipes.
- Develop new and innovative pastry items to be used as specials or potential new menu items.
- Ensure that all dessert components are fully stocked and prepared for service.
- Follows all safety and health rules for sanitary food handling and kitchen cleanliness.
- Daily sets up workstation and keeps it neat and clean.
- Affords assistance to coworkers to ensure efficient operation of the line.
- Reviews and comprehends recipes and other necessary documentation.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk during 6 to 8 hour shifts.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves in storerooms and freezers.
- Ability to work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of heat and noise.
Qualifications
- Food preparation knowledge and line work experience.
- Ability to operate various cooking equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret recipes.

Pay
Salary range: $X-$Y per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Shifts: Variable, typically 6-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
