About the role

Lighthouse Baptist Church is seeking a new Pastor due to the resignation of their current Pastor in September 2025 due to health issues. Applicants must adhere to the church's beliefs and doctrinal statements available on their website.

Responsibilities

• Delve deeply into the verses of Scripture and teach and encourage the congregation from the pulpit.
• Visit in homes, hospitals, and other locations as needed.
• Be an expository preacher without being Briders, Calvin, or Andersonites.
• May need to be bi-vocational for a time.

Requirements

• Preference for an older man with previous pastoral experience.
• Understanding of Southern culture.

Qualifications

• Must be an expository preacher who can delve deeply into the Scripture.
• No Briders, No Calvin, No Andersonites.
