About the role

We are looking for a Pasta Line Cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for the menu. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals by delivering a pleasant dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of meal prep components to ensure timely completion of final dishes
• Chop and prepare vegetables and other non-meat ingredients
• Stock ingredients and kitchen supplies
• Maintain clean and sanitized workstations
• Check perishable ingredients and food items for freshness
• Understand portions when cutting and slicing meat, poultry, and seafood
• Read order tickets and recipes accurately
• Use kitchen tools and cooking utensils with strong hand-eye coordination
• Take daily measures to prevent food cross-contamination
• Maintain a clean station at all times

Requirements

• Work experience as a line cook or similar role
• Willingness to work as a team player when preparing dishes and coordinating meal service
• Organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and kitchen
• Hands-on experience with professional kitchen equipment
• Good knowledge of food plating techniques
• Understanding of health and safety rules in a kitchen
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Willingness to work required shifts, including nights, breakfast rush, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• A degree from a culinary school is a plus
