PAS Associate
Responsibilities
- taking all inbound phone calls from patients
- researching patient issues with insurance
- collecting unpaid balances from the patients
- coordinating the transition of accounts to Medium Collection Vendor
- preparing write-offs to hard collection company
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior Experience: 1-2 years minimum of customer service experience
- Special Qualifications: Superior customer service skills, Ability to understand basic medical terminology, Acute attention to detail, Ability to multitask
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Call center and/or medical office experience
- Experience in high call volume
- Associate’s degree in business administration or related field
- CPAR - Certified Patient Account Representative
